PRAGUE - The title was not the end! Slavia dominated the League Gala on Sunday seizing almost all the available trophies. Milan Škoda has been voted the Best player of the season, Jaroslav Šilhavý seized the same trophy among managers.

PRAGUE/STRAHOV STADIUM - Slavia needed to defeat Zbrojovka Brno to secure their 18th Czech/Czechoslovak title regardless other games. The sewn-ones did not leave anything to chance and beated Brno 4-0.

PRAGUE/STRAHOV - Slavia are champions of 2016/2017 Czech ePojisteni.cz League! The sewn-ones confirmed their title by beating Zbrojovka Brno 4-0 and finished the competition 2 points ahead former champions Viktoria Plzeň.

PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - Slavia took the lead twice against Dukla in the "small" Prague Derby but the away team managed to equalise in both cases. After Plzeň 3-3 draw with Mladá Boleslav Slavia is still two points ahead of the only other title-contender.

Eden is now real home for Slavia

PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - Since April 30, 2017 Slavia can call Eden Arena their real home. Almost nine years after the construction of the stadium the club has the same owner as the Arena. CEFC Group took over the stadium after long negotiations from its previous owner and the club organized a huge party before and after the match with Jablonec. More than 15 thousand fans attended the game which ended in 1-1 draw.

PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - For the first time since Slavia took over the Eden Arena and made the stadium their real home the sewn-ones played the home game. After an unlucky goal by Michael Lüftner which spoiled a clean sheet for brilliant Jiří Pavlenka, substitute Muris Mešanovič equalised in 90th minute. Slavia is now equal with Viktoria on top of the league having - unfortunately - worse score from mutual games.
