New signing for Slavia - Jakub Hromada

PRAGUE/EDEN - Introducing new reinforcement for Slavia midfield! Slovakian international Jakub Hromada signs 3-year deal with the sewn-ones.
Hromada’s transfer from Italian side Sampdoria was finished on June 20. Slovakian international should play on U21 EURO in Poland but has left the squad because of a late knee injury. He should be back in training in 2 months. Hromada is not unfamiliar with the Czech league – last season he played for runners-up Viktoria Plzeò.

“The ambitions of the club prove decisive for my transfer. Slavia are ruling champions, they have wonderful background and also the euphoria surrounding the club is astonishing. It could be difficult for me because I have been member of squad of Italian clubs for five years, but I think that Slavia is heading for bright future. I am glad I could be part of it,” Hromada said.

21-year-old Jakub Hromada started his career in Košice, from his age of 16 he played in Italy for Juventus and Genoa. After his transfer to Sampdoria in 2015 he spent two seasons on loan in Senica (Slovakia) and Viktoria Plzeò. Last year he played 18 games in Czech Premiere league scoring one goal.
