Slavia sign goalkeeper Jan Laštůvka

PRAGUE/EDEN - Another reinforcement for the next season is coming in form of experienced golkeeper Jan Laštůvka. 34-year old former Czech international played in MFK Karviná last year and belonged to the best goalies of the Czech league.
Laštůvka started his senior career in Karviná and soon moved to Baník Ostrava, where he won the Czech title in 2004. After this success, he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk where he spent another five years seizing two Ukrainian titles. For part of this time Laštůvka went on-loan to Fulham, Wfl Bochum and West Ham United. Later he spent best part of his career in Dnipro, where he played from 2009 to 2016 starting in more than hundred games.

"It is a great responsibility to play for Slavia. The club´s goals are high, but I am not afraid. I will fight to be the first-choice keeper and I want to help Slavia to qualify for the Champions League," Laštůvka said.
