Ruslan Rotaņ to sign 1-year deal

PRAGUE - Together with Danny and Halil Altintop, Ukrainian international and former Dnipro captain Ruslan Rotaņ will become reinforcement of Slavia squad prior the start of 2017/2018 season.
"Ruslan has been in training with us for more than a week. He is extremely hard-working and humble guy. His orientation on the pitch is excellent, so are his final passes regardless whether right or left foot," manager Jaroslav Šilhavż said.

35-year old Rotaņ signed 1-year deal with Slavia after a successful trial.

Ruslan Rotaņ was a long-time captain of Ukrainian side Dnipro. The only moment he has left Dnipropetrovsk was for Dynamo Kyiv (2005-2008) winning Ukrainian league and 2 Ukrainian cups. Back in Dnipro again he managed to lead his team to sensational 2014/15 UEFA Europa League Finals. Rotaņ has played 64 games in European cups scoring 8 goals. 35-year old central midfielder has also almost 100 cups in the national team.
