New man between the posts: Ondøej Koláø

PRAGUE – Slavia announced signing of new goalkeeper. Ondøej Koláø joins the club from Slovan Liberec signing the contract till June 2021.
The red & whites completed signing of 23-year old goalkeeper Ondøej Koláø for the transfer fee of CZK 25 M shortly after announcing move of another Slovan player – defensive universal Ondøej Kúdela – for the transfer fee of CZK 10 M.

“From his young age Ondøej is considered one of the most talented goalkeepers in the Czech Republic. Thanks to his qualities he was predestined to play the big football but he was also chased by injuries and that is maybe why he is not somewhere else now,” Slavia Sports Director Jan Nezmar said.

“Lately everything has been working well for him and he starts showing what’s he capable to do. We believe that his contract with Slavia will be another step in his career and that he could prove his talent here,” Nezmar added.

“The talks were quite long and I was nervous about the outcome. But I am glad that the clubs finally agreed. Slavia is an ambitious club, I know the coaching staff here and I am looking forward to working with them,” Ondøej Koláø said after arriving to Eden Arena.

190 centimetres tall Ondøej Koláø was born on October 1994 in Liberec. He started his senior career in Slovan in 2013/14 but in 2013 and 2016 spent on loan in Varnsdorf (Football National League). Koláø has eight caps for Czech national teams U18 and U19.
