Like father, like sons! Danny´s sons win games for Slavia

The third edition of Slavia International Cup is over. The red & whites under 14 team finished 9th but our players surely showed the best action of the tournament. Bernardo and Francisco Gomes scored a tremendous goal against Beijing Guoan.
Bernardo Gomes and Francisco Gomes. You probably haven´t heard of them so far but you should definitely keep an eye on them for the future. Both sons of former Zenit St. Petersburg, Sporting or Portugal star Danny play for Slavia under 14 and both belonged to the best players on recent Slavia International Cup 2018.Their combination and Bernardo´s goal secured a 1-0 victory over Chinese team Beijing Guoan. Slavia finished 9th out of 12 participants. Spanish side Málaga CF retained the title befor Hungarian Puskás Akadémia and Ukrainian Karpaty Lviv.
"It was a beautiful action, I am glad for the goal and for the combination as well. I have been watching the game on Eden training grounds personally and I celebreated the goal immediately," Danny said after the tournament.
" When I see boys in the game I always try to tell them what was wrong and what - in contrary - they did well. I try to explain it to them and give them advice as a father and as a professional player. I am proud father and they are both my idols," Portuguese midfielder added.
