December reinforcements: Lüftner and Kováø

PRAGUE – Slavia signed two new reinforcements. Twenty-two years old defender Michael Lüftner has transferred from Teplice. And since Martin Berkovec will spend the spring on a loan in Bohemians, he has been replaced by experienced goalie Pøemysl Kovøáø.
Martin Berkovec has signed new contract until June 2018, he has, however, also joined Bohemians 1905 on a half-season loan deal. The 27-year-old has played just two league matches this season as Pavlenka has become Slavia’s no.1.

“Martin is a talented goalie and we would like him to play regularly so we decided for the loan. We hope that the spring in Bohemians will be successful one with as many clean sheets as possible,” said the general director Martin Krob.

Slavia have signed a new goalie right away. The experienced Pøemysl Kováø has transferred from Bulgarian club Cherno More Varna. Starting his career in Slovácko, the thirty-one-year-old has played for Liberec, Žižkov or Hapoel Haifa. He has signed a contract until December 2019.

Slavia have also introduced Michael Lüftner, the U21 national team defender transfers from Teplice. The talented defender has signed a contract until June 2020. “I am pleased that we can welcome Michael in Slavia, since we have been following him for a while. He has played almost 100 league matches, he has a great character and a the will to always move forward,” explained his transfer general director Martin Krob.
