Next two league fixtures behind closed doors

UPDATE: All league fixtures have been postponed indefinitely starting from Friday,13 March.

Our away game at Mladá Boleslav and home game against Jablonec will be played behind closed doors due to current coronavirus outbreak.

League Football Association (LFA) - governing body of Czech first and second league - decided to play upcoming two league fixtures (Round 25 and 16) behind closed doors. On Tuesday the National Security Council of the Czech Republic ordered to call off all events with attendance over 100 people as a measure to contain current COVID-19 outbreak.

Slavia will play away at FK Mladá Boleslav on Saturday, 14 March, at 5 pm and home against FK Jablonec on Saturday, 21 March, at 5 pm. Ticket sale for FK Jablonec home game was suspended on Tuesday.

Win against Liberec. Chytil ruled, Pech with his first assist

Slavia defeated Slovan Liberec 1–0 in the 17th round at Fortuna Arena, maintaining their perfect home record in the Chance League this fall. Mojmír Chytil scored the winning goal in the 41st minute, with Dominik Pech earning his first league assist. A total of 17,969 spectators attended the match in Eden.

Slavia Prague suffered a 1–2 defeat against Turkish side Fenerbahçe SK in the 5th round of the UEFA Europa League group stage, despite taking an early lead through Tomáš Chorý. The visitors turned the match around with goals from Edin Džeko and En Nesyri. Slavia remains on four points in the group.

From Budějovice with a win. First goal for Pech

Slavia Prague triumphed in the 16th round of the Chance League with a 4-0 victory over Dynamo České Budějovice at the sold-out Střelecký ostrov stadium. In the first half, Tomáš Chorý converted a penalty, and Christos Zafeiris scored a stunning long-range goal. In the second half, Mojmír Chytil netted another penalty, and Dominik Pech scored his first league goal. Slavia now holds an eight-point lead over second-place Viktoria Plzeň.
