Reinforcement for the champions: Muhammed Cham

Slavia´s new signing is Muhammed Cham, an Austrian international who joins from Trabzonspor on a one-year loan with an option to buy. Welcome to the home of champions!

"Muhammed is still a young player who has proven himself in high-quality competitions. He has been able to score points, shoot goals, and assist regularly. He has creative solutions in the final phase, but at the same time, he knows what he wants to improve. We also appreciate his character; he impressed us during negotiations. He wants to be on the national team; he wants to play demanding football. Just like us. We believe that he will strengthen our team and confirm his qualities and potential. We wish him good luck," says sporting director Jiří Bílek.

"I knew the red and white jersey from photos and videos, and I always said to myself that I would like to wear that jersey with the star. Now I´m wearing it, and it´s a special feeling. I know I´m joining a quality team. The number of national team players in Slavia´s squad says a lot about the club. I´m also a big fan of coach Trpišovský, it´s important for me to have a coach who wants to help me improve," adds Slavia´s new signing Muhammed Cham.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder played 38 competitive matches in Turkey, 32 of which were in the Super League, scoring six goals and recording ten assists. He made his last start on July 18 in a 1-0 win over Kasimpasa.

The Linz native previously played for Clermont, appearing in 71 Ligue One matches with 15 goals and eight assists. In March, he made two starts for the Austrian national team in the UEFA Nations League against Serbia.
