Sinobo Group – Chinese real estate development company – is the new majority shareholder of Slavia Prague. Current owner – Citic Group – remains minority shareholder. Sinobo also owns Chinese football club Beijing Guoan, which became strategic partner of Slavia in April. Now the cooperation between both clubs will deepen.

“When Sinobo delegation first visited us on April, they showed their interest to enter the shareholder’s structure as fast as possible, take part on the development of the club, its financing and its future. We are glad this dream is becoming reality,” Jaroslav Tvrdík, Slavia Chairman of Board said.

“I believe the cooperation will deepen the friendship between our capitols, Prague and Beijing. Football is a universal culture connecting the World. Slavia has its own unique club culture, great fans and 126 years long history. And when I visited Prague and saw the Slavia game on the stadium, I could fully experience these abstract values,” Sinobo Chairman of Board Zhou Jinhui said during the celebration.

Slavia stadium in Eden will now bear the name of the new owner – Sinobo Stadium.
