The red-whites faced Bijing Sinobo Guoan in their first encounter on Portuguese training camp. After impressive first half and three goals by Škoda (2) and Olayinka Slavia added second after the break and won 4-0.
Alex Král recorded his first minutes in red-white shirt after his transfer from Teplice.

As part of starting eleven Král stood next to Jakub Jugas recovering from his injury in centre defence.

Petr Ševčík – another winter reinforcement – started as defensive midfielder next to Ibrahim Traoré.

Dutch forward Mick van Buren recovering from long-term injury recorded 45 minutes as right winger.

In the second round of the Champions League group stage, Slavia Prague were defeated 0–3 away to Inter Milan at the San Siro. Jindřich Staněk was beaten twice by Lautaro Martínez, a veteran of the sides’ memorable 1–1 draw six years ago, while Denzel Dumfries added a third for the hosts.

Slavia kicked off their Champions League group stage campaign with a 2–2 draw against Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt. Jindřich Trpišovský’s side led by two goals — both scored by Youssoupha Mbodji — but the visitors managed to equalize late in the game. Goalkeeper Jindřich Staněk also made a crucial save from the penalty spot while the score was 1–0.
