Slavia - Příbram
Goals: 3. Provod, 18. Bořil, 90. Kolář (pen.)
Slavia won 3-0 against Příbram in the first home game of 2020/21 season. Ondřej Kolář scored in 90th minute.
Against Příbram, manager Trpišovský opted for similar line-up as against Dynamo with the only change being the return of Ondřej Kúdela replacing David Zima as centre-back.

As in the first league round, Slavia managed to take early lead. After less than 3 minutes Ševčík sent his cross from corner o Hovorka’s head, our centre-back slightly deflected the ball and Lukáš Provod sent it into an open net on the far post.

Four minutes later Tecl sent Lukáš Masopust into another chance, but his effort was blocked by one of Příbram defenders at the last moment.

In 18th minute captain Jan Bořil doubled Slavia lead with a well-placed header following Coufal’s cross from the right wing. And because the red-whites managed to keep Příbram at bay for the rest of the opening half, it stayed 2-0 at the break.

After the break, Masopust got into the first chance, but fired wide from inside the box after a good low cross by Traoré. Slavia set the pace of the game but failed to create more opportunities until the 71st minute when Nico Stanciu went past two players and Olayinka fired low shot inside the box, which was blocked by goalkeeper Melichar.

Shortly afterwards Traoré tried his luck with beautiful volley from the edge of the box but missed the left post. In 79th minute Musa sent firm shot from 20 metres but Melichar denied him again, three minutes later Holeš latched onto a cross by Coufal but fired wide from 15 metres.

But the story of the game was far from over. In 90th minute Lukáš Provod was pulled down inside the box and Slavia could take a penalty. Ondřej Kolář run from his own goal, got the ball and scored his first league goal from the spot.

Slavia won their second game in the 2020/21 league season. The red-whites conceded no goal so far, scored 9 and are on top of the league table.
