Slavia - Liberec
Goals: 15. (pen.) a 90. Jurečka, 83. Chytil
Slavia triumphed 3-0 over Liberec in the last match before the international break. Václav Jurečka scored twice, while Mojmír Chytil also added a goal. Jindřich Staněk kept a clean sheet in his third league match in red-white, making several exclusive saves in front of 17,513 fans.
Compared to their last appearance in this season's UEFA Europa League on Thursday, the starting eleven saw five changes. Petr Ševčík returned from injury, making his first appearance since the cup derby, while Matěj Jurásek and Malick Diouf started from the beginning, with the duo of van Buren and Jurečka expected to lead the goal-scoring efforts.

Van Buren had the first chance of the match after a pass from Jurečka, but Vliegen narrowed the shooting angle well at his left post in the 4th minute. Jurečka's long-range shot sailed over the crossbar.

In the 14th minute, David Douděra was brought down by Žambůrek in the penalty area, and referee Černý awarded a penalty. Václav Jurečka stepped up and ruthlessly struck his 12th league goal of the season into the bottom right corner. Vliegen dived the opposite way - 1-0.

There was unnecessary excitement in front of Staněk, who had to wear an assistant coach's cap due to the intense sunlight, as the visitors' action was preceded by an offside. In the 26th minute, Jurečka raced towards Liberec's goal, set up Matěj Jurásek, but Vliegen intervened against Conrad Wallem's lob attempt. Kulenović's missile was denied by the woodwork, and Staněk was fortunate.

Staněk caught Fukala's header in his arms, which was aimed at the center of the goal. Pourzitidis received the first yellow card for a tackle on Jurečka. The rest of the first half, which was extended by two minutes, didn't offer much. Ondřej Zmrzlý replaced Malick Diouf for the second half.

Christos Zafeiris and Mojmír Chytil also took to the field shortly after, replacing Ševčík and van Buren. Vliegen struggled to save Tomáš Holeš's projectile over the crossbar, and then dealt with Chytil's attempt after a pass from Douděra.

In the 65th minute, Staněk pulled off an incredible triple save against Kulenović! Within a few seconds, he thwarted his initial shot and two subsequent follow-ups, earning applause from the Eden crowd.

On the other end, Vliegen didn't shy away from the challenge, stopping Jurečka's solo effort. Žambůrek lacked accuracy from distance. Ivan Schranz was already on the field at this point, replacing Douděra. In the 74th minute, Matěj Jurásek also made way for Lukáš Provod, as the coaching staff sent him into battle. Zaferis's successful dribble ended with a shot blocked by the defense.

In the 83rd minute, Mojmír Chytil calmed Slavia fans, rising in the air to meet Wallem's cross and head the ball into the net - 2-0. Václav Jurečka secured the final goal again, scoring after Zmrzlý hit the left post and the ball rebounded to him. Zafeiris initiated the action - 3-0.

The match offered no further drama as Slavia defeated a spirited Liberec side by a three-goal margin. Jindřich Trpišovský's team will play their next match on Saturday, March 30, against Slovácko in Uherské Hradiště.
