This season´s European journey comes to an end in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 against AC Milan. After Tomáš Holes´ early sending off, the Italian team scored three times in the first half, after the change of sides, Matěj Jurásek adjusted the score-line to 1-3 with a beautiful shot curly shot.

Slavia had a difficult task ahead of their UEFA Europa League round of 16 second leg against AC Milan, as they came back from the first match in Milan with a two-goal deficit after a 2:4 defeat. Head-coach Jindřich Trpišovský made two changes to the starting line-up compared to the first match as both Igoh Ogbu and Conrad Wallem started.

Mojmír Chytil could have followed up on the great atmosphere provided by the Red-White fans in the 14th minute, as he used his body with his back to the goal to cover Tomori well and take on a dangerous shot. But Maignan pulled off a great stop with his right foot.

Unfortunately, Slavia's worst nightmares for the potential of dramatizing the tie came true in the 20th minute when Slavia went down to ten men after Tomáš Holeš was sent off for a foul on Calabria. Just like in Milan, Slavia faced more than 70 minutes of shorthanded play.

AC Milan took the reins of the game after the sending-off and soon afterwards capitalised on the advantage to register first goal. First, Pulisic scored in the 34th minute after a low shot with his left, two minutes later Loftus-Cheek was on the end of a smart combination, and Leao completed the trio of first-half goals with a precise shot into the arrowhead of Staněk's goal - 0:3 at half-time.

In the second half, Jindřich Trpišovský refreshed the line-up by gradually introducing Michal Tomič, Václav Jurečka, Christos Zafeiris, Ivan Schranz and Matěj Jurásek to the game. The latter came on in the 83rd minute and had an immediate impact on the game. Just two minutes later, Matěj Jurásek created space on the edge of the box and with a beautiful left-footed curling shot to the back post, he gave the goalkeeper no chance - 1:3!

However, the 10-men Red-Whites were not able to do much more. After a 1:3 defeat, their European journey came to its end in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 against AC Milan.
