Sparta - Slavia
The 0-0 draw at Letná left Slavia four points adrift from the top spot after the second round of FORTUNA:LIGA Finals. Jindřich Staněk showcased a series of exclusive saves in the match, but the Red-Whites failed to capitalize on a long numerical advantage following Haraslín´s dismissal.
Jindřich Trpišovský's coaching team was forced to make one change compared to the match against Baník due to health issues preventing Lukáš Provod's participation. Matěj Jurásek replaced him in the starting lineup. Jan Bořil led Slavia into battle wearing the captain's armband, while Petr Ševčík made his 150th competitive appearance in the red and white colors.

At the ePet Arena, the league's best attack clashed against the best defence. Slavia hadn't won a league clash at Letná since December 2022 (0-2-2), although they celebrated victory in the MOL Cup a year ago. Both derbies in this season's regular phase ended in a draw.

The first chance of the match fell to the home side, with Haraslín heading over Jindřich Staněk's goal. The Letná team defended against a combination between Jan Bořil and Mojmír Chytil, resulting in a corner kick. Haraslín received the first yellow card of the match in the 18th minute for a foul on Chytil. Vindahl intervened against a beautiful right-footed strike from Ivan Schranz, while Staněk exclusively thwarted Kuchta's solo run towards the near post, with Igoh Ogbu assisting in clearing the rebound.

Slavia's goalkeeper pulled off two excellent saves after half an hour, first against Wiesner's header and then against Ryneš's long-range effort. Chytil required treatment after a header duel with Krejčí but continued the match. In the 34th minute, Ogbu fulfilled his defensive duties superbly by sliding in to intercept a cross aimed for a free Kuchta.

In the 35th minute, Jurásek was brought down outside the penalty area, awarding Slavia a free-kick. Jurásek took the free-kick but hit the wall. Vindahl comfortably gathered his subsequent shot after a corner kick. Staněk then reflexively tipped Krejčí's header, heading for the post, over the bar. In the 42nd minute, David Douděra narrowly missed the far post with a half-volley. Two additional minutes added by referee Černý didn't bring further excitement, and both teams headed into the break with a goalless scoreline.

Ogbu didn't return for the second half due to injury, replaced by David Zima. In the 54th minute, Jurásek had a chance on his right foot after Oscar's solo run, but Vindahl reduced the shooting angle and denied him. Jurásek was substituted off after an hour, with Václav Jurečka taking his place. In the 63rd minute, Haraslín's tackle on Douděra earned him a second yellow card, reducing Slavia's opponents to ten men for the rest of the match.

Fifteen minutes before the end, Jindřich Trpišovský made two substitutions, with Zima and Douděra making way for Lukáš Masopust and Christos Zafeiris. The Norwegian utility player immediately joined the attack, but his cross into the penalty area was cleared for a corner by the home defense. Tijani's header, replacing Schranz, flew over the bar. After a challenge on Bořil, play was briefly halted for treatment, allowing Slavia's captain to continue. Zafeiris attempted a shot after a series of rebounds, but Vindahl intervened. In the 89th minute, Staněk comfortably saved Olatunji's half-volley, while Chytil's header from Masopust's cross narrowly missed the target at the other end.

The Letná goalkeeper denied Slavia's striker again seconds later, tipping his left-footed shot onto the post for a corner. The referee added six minutes of stoppage time. Ševčík delivered a free-kick accurately onto Tijani's head, but the latter's effort was saved by Vindahl. Olatunji missed a chance to score with a header from a fast counter-attack.

The red and whites couldn't create another chance, and the 311th derby ended in a 0-0 draw. Jindřich Trpišovský's selection faces Plzeň in their next match on Wednesday at Eden.
