Slovácko - Slavia
In the first round of the 2024/2025 season, Slavia failed to overcome Slovácko and took home a point from Uherské Hradiště after a goalless draw. Antonín Kinský secured a clean sheet in his league debut for Slavia.

The opening match of the new season presented a challenging opponent for Slavia. Although the past five matches had a 100% winning record favoring Slavia, earning points from Uherské Hradiště is never an easy task. Antonín Kinský and Filip Prebsl made their league debuts for Slavia, while Jan Bořil wore the captain's armband.

Matěj Jurásek recorded the first shot of the 2024/2025 season with a left-footed strike after a combination play. Mojmír Chytil followed up with a powerful shot, but neither effort troubled Heča.

The visiting defenders were also busy, with Tomáš Holeš making a crucial tackle to deny Blahút from advancing on goal against Antonín Kinský.

Jan Bořil had a chance to score after receiving a pass from Matěj Jurásek, executing a perfect feint but sending his right-footed shot high over the bar.

The game became increasingly physical and fragmented due to fouls, resulting in yellow cards for Kohút and Oscar, who engaged in several intense duels in the midfield.

Matěj Jurásek came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 36th minute, stylishly eluding a defender and turning to shoot towards the post. Heča managed to tip the ball away with his fingertips, denying the young Slavia player.

In stoppage time, substitute David Zima, who replaced the injured Tomáš Vlček, tried his luck from outside the box, only to see his shot saved by the home goalkeeper.

Lukáš Provod couldn't beat the vigilant Heča either, following a brilliant individual effort, and despite Slavia's late pressure, the first half ended goalless.

Both teams entered the second half without making any substitutions, keeping the game's rhythm unchanged initially. With half an hour remaining, there was a multiple substitution with Tomáš Chorý, Petr Ševčík, and EURO's top scorer Ivan Schranz entering the field.

Slavia pushed forward, resulting in a cross from Tomáš Holeš and a header from Jan Bořil, which was reflexively saved over the bar by the still flawless Heča.

In the 72nd minute, Lukáš Provod attempted a shot from distance, narrowly missing the right post. That was his last contribution before being substituted by Lukáš Vorlický, making his first appearance for the senior team.

Shortly after, Ivan Schranz delivered a precise cross into the box. Tomáš Chorý nearly capitalized on a goalkeeper's error and a lucky bounce but couldn't quite push the ball into the net.

Lukáš Vorlický's active play in the final stages of the match injected some dynamism, sending numerous balls into the opponent's box, but none found the target. The match ended in a goalless draw, marking Slavia's start to the season.

The first home game is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, at 8:00 PM.
