Slavia secured a 2–0 victory in the Vršovice derby in the second round, defeating Bohemians on their home ground. The first win of the new season came thanks to accurate strikes from Lukáš Provod and Vasil Kušej. Michal Sadílek made his debut in the starting lineup.

Despite going behind, the red-and-whites turned the game around with goals from Tomáš Chorý and Christos Zafeiris, but the visitors equalized five minutes from time.
