Slavia took lead just 2 minutes into the game. Kuchta was pulled down in the penalty area and captain Ondřej Kúdela scored from the spot. It was 5th goal in opening 5 minutes of the game for Slavia this season.
Just 5 minutes later the hosts could double their led, but Kuchta’s goal was disallowed due to a previous offside by Malínský.
In 22nd minute Ondřej Kúdela added his second of the night. He got enough space on the far post after a Slavia corner and his volley found its way to the bottom left corner.
Slovácko created several opportunities after the break. Sadílek hit post in 49th minute, the same player was denied by Kolář with his long-range shot in 67th minute. Six minutes later Lingr could give Slavia desired third goal, but his header was blocked by Slovácko goalkeeper.
The third strike thus did not come until the 90th minute. Lukáš Provod fired from set piece and his firm shot was directed precisely into the top corner of Nemrava’s net.
Slavia thus won 3-0 against Slovácko and remain second in the league table. Next game will be second leg of UCL Play-off, the red and whites play away at Midtjylland on Wednesday, 30 September, at 9 pm CET.
