Slavia lost 2-3 in the last Prague Derby of the season. The Red-Whites equalized twice, but a penalty at 90+6 minutes decided the game.
Slavia dominated possession in the opening half with Sparta sitting deep, but the home team managed to score first after half an hour when Haraslín sent the ball into the top left corner from a set piece some 23 metres from goal.

Only five minutes later Slavia equalized. Mick van Buren latched onto a long pass from Douděra and sent a low cross across the box to Ivan Schranz who found the back of the net.

Despite the possession Slavia were contained by Sparta defence for the rest of the first half. On the other side Minchev’s header missed the crossbar after a Sparta corner.

Shortly after the break Kuchta managed to turn around with the ball inside of the box, but his effort missed the right post. Only two minutes later, on the other side, Mick van Buren found space inside of Sparta box to fire from similar position but sent the ball above crossbar.

In the 52nd minute long throw-in fell to Václav Jurečka on the far post, but our forward was denied from a good position by Kovář in Sparta goal. Shortly after that on the other side Sørensen’s cross fell on the crossbar of Slavia goal.

In the 63rd minute Sparta took lead for the second time. Sadílek’s cross was deflected several times inside of Slavia box, the ball rebounded to Asger Sørensen on the edge of the box and his low shot found the back of the net despite Kolář touching the ball.

In the 77th minute after a beautiful Slavia combination Provod hit the left post of Sparta goal. Slavia thus had to wait till the 85th minute for another equalizer. Ševčík sent a great cross from the right side, Stanislav Tecl headed inside of the box and the ball fell over Kovář into the net.

With the game almost finished the decisive moment came. In the stoppage time after a long ball by Kovář Ogbu was late reaching the ball inside of the box, took out Mabil and the referee pointed to the spot. Krejčí scored from the penalty and secure 3 points for Sparta.

Slavia are thus 5 points behind their city rival on the second place of the league table with 3 games of the Champions Group left.
