ZLÍN/LETNÁ STADIUM - Despite Milan Škoda opening the score in the second half, Zlín managed to equalize thanks to Vukadinović´s penalty six minutes before the final whistle. The 1-1 draw means that Slavia did not loose their 34th consecutive game. The red & whites thus set a new Czech league record!
Simon Deli and Michael Ngadeu missed the game in Zlín and manager Jaroslav Šilhavý had to replace them with Michal Frydrych and Tomáš Souček.
The home side had a better start into the game and Vukadin Vukadinović could open the score, just missing the post. On the other side Josef Hušbauer fired twice, missing the crossbar with his first shot and being denied by Dostál with his second.
Just after 19 minutes Stoch sent his pass past Dostál looking for Milan Škoda in front of the open net but our captain could not reach the ball by a few centimeters.
A moment later Mick van Buren did not utilize even better chance when Sobol found him on the far post, Buren firing over the crossbar with his sliding effort.
Stoch and ex-Slavia Železník missed in their chances in the opening minutes of the second half and first goal thus did not come until 76th minute. Ruslan Rotan sent his corner kick precisely on the near post and Milan Škoda headed the ball with deflection by home defender Bačo into the net.
But Zlín managed to equalise just 8 minutes later. Dame Diop seized the ball after Laštůvka put it into play and did not direct the ball on the goal just because Jugas was holding him. The referee blew for the penalty kick and Vukadin Vukadinović scored from the spot.
There were few more chances in the last minutes of the game but Zmrhal missed with his left foot and Vukadinović hit the post from inside the box.
Slavia thus drew 1-1 in Zlín which means their 34th consecutive league game without a single loss. On the other hand, Slavia on the third place of the league table is falling behind Viktoria Plzeň (8 points) and Sigma Olomouc (1 point).
