Slavia defeated Banik Ostrava 3-0 in the final match of the season at Fortuna Arena. The champions´ goals were scored in front of 19,322 spectators by Tomas Holy, Vasil Kusej, and David Doudera. Milan Skoda played in Eden after 5.5 years. And then? Then came celebrations worthy of champions.

The Red-Whites won all 18 home league matches this season. THANK YOU, CHAMPIONS!

Jindrich Stanek returned between the posts, Christos Zafeiris played his 100th competitive match for Slavia. New father and todays birthday celebrant Vasil Kusej, along with Lukas Provod, supported Tomas Chory at the front.

On the bench, just like against Jablonec, was Milan Skoda, a modern legend of the Red-Whites. The champions of this season's Chance Liga were welcomed by a giant choreography, featuring the inscription CHAMPIONS.

In the 21st minute, Ondrej Zmrzly fired and narrowly missed the top left corner. Jan Boril's shot didn't sit well, flying over Holecs crossbar. After half an hour, Tomas Holes struck the ball and opened the score with his second goal of the season - 1-0. Provods shot was tipped away by Baniks goalkeeper, and Zafeiris' cannon shot was denied by the post. Kusej missed the best moment to finish the rebound.

Five minutes before halftime, Holce again saved Banik with a key intervention, pushing Provods sharp-angle shot out for a corner. He had no chance against Vasil Kusejs close-range finish after a beautiful assist from Zmrzly - 2-0. That was also the halftime score.

Early in the second half, Chory threatened twice but couldn't get the ball past Holce. Provod's half-volley went straight to the keeper, and another shot was deflected for a corner. In the 68th minute, Chory and Zmrzly were subbed off, replaced by Chytil and Botos. Six minutes later, David Doudera executed a beautiful strike and hit the net for the third time - 3-0.

To thunderous applause, Milan Skoda entered the pitch, symbolically receiving the captains armband from Jan Boril as he replaced Provod. Chaloupek came on for Moses. In the very end, Botos smashed a long-range shot off the crossbar.

Nothing more happened in the match. Slavia won 3-0 and closed out the championship season in style. With a victory
