Slavia - Bohemians 1905
Goals: 45. Hušbauer
First spring victory for Slavia came in the "Vršovice derby" against Bohemians 1905. First goal by Škoda was disallowed by the video-referee but Josef Hušbauer secured three points with his perfect long-range shot at the end of the first half-time.
- Škoda’s goal disallowed by the video-referee for the first time in Czech league history.

- Hušbauer scored first Slavia league goal during spring season after 135 minutes.

- Slavia return to 2nd place after Olomouc lost to Brno.

With several changes in the starting line-up Slavia launched their first home game of spring season 2018. Ex-Montpellier defender Lukáš Pokorný appeared in a competitive game for the first time next to his former Slovan Liberec colleague Ondřej Kúdela. Miroslav Stoch returned to the starting eleven as well as Tomáš Souček.

Despite the freezing weather (around -7 degrees) almost 10.000 people attended the game confirming Slavia as club with the highest average home attendance during the autumn season.

The red & whites started better and Milan Škoda scored just after 9 minutes rebounding the ball after his own header. But the chaotic situation inside the box made the referee consult the goal with video which resulted in the goal being disallowed due to an offside position by Souček. It was for the very first time in Czech league history that the goal was denied by the video-referee.

Just few minutes later Škoda could score again but was denied by goalkeeper Fryšták this time with his header. Sýkora’s shot from inside the box was blocked by one of the defenders a minute later.

A proper goal – with absolutely nothing to be challenged by the video – thus came at the added time of the opening half. Bohemians’ Šmíd headed the ball away just to the legs of Josef Hušbauer and he fired his shot precisely to the top corner from outside the box.

Bohemians could equalize after the break but Slavia were lucky enough when Bartek shot hit both posts and rebounded back to the field.

The guests slowly started to set the pace but Kabaev missed the open net at minute 83 after he rounded Kolář following a mistake by Slavia defense.

Slavia created two chances after Bohemians opened the game close to the final whistle but Miroslav Stoch was denied by Fryšták after his individual effort and later Bohemians goalkeeper punched his shot from outside the box away.

The red & whites thus redeemed after a 0-1 loss in Jihlava and returned to the second place of league table (after Olomouc lost 0-1 in Brno).
