Slavia defeated Opava 6-0 when the red-whites scored 5 goals after the break. Kuchta scored two, Kúdela, Bořil, Sima and Musa added four more goals.
Manager Trpišovský made only two changes to the starting line-up in compare to the last game before the international break against Mladá Boleslav. Traoré replaced Holeš in the middle and David Zima played instead of injured David Hovorka. Along with Hovorka, Takács, Tecl, Provod and Karafiát were not available for the match either.

Opava started the game better and set the pace for opening 10 minutes, but Slavia managed to equal the game and took the wheel of the game soon. After 12 minutes Zima deflected Stanciu’s corner to Traoré who was denied by Fendrich in the first big chance of the game. In 34th minute the same situation repeated, Zima prolonged Stanciu’s cross this time to Kúdela and our centre-back headed the ball in on the far post. Slavia took deserved lead.

After the break Slavia begun even better and doubled the lead in 53rd minute. Sima sent a clever through pass to Masopust on the right side who passed the ball to Jan Kuchta inside the box and our striker sent the ball into the net along Fendrich.

Jan Kuchta added his second only 5 minutes later. Sima found Stanciu inside the box, his shot was deflected by Kuchta and Slavia were three goals ahead. It was Kuchta’s fourth goal in last three games.

Twenty minutes to the end Traoré sent another through pass to Sima, who went past goalkeeper and hit the post, but Jan Bořil who returned on the pitch after a Covid-break rebounded the bell into the open net to make it 4-0. In 82nd minute Abdallah Sima scored himself when he nutmegged Hrabina on the left side of the box and sent the ball into the bottom right corner.

Even after the Sima’s goal the game wasn’t over. In 88th minute Holeš sent a low cross from the right wing, Sima couldn’t reach the boll inside the box but Petar Musa scored on the far post firing the ball through Fendrich.

Slavia thus defeated Opava 6-0. It was second six-goal away win of the season and Slavia is the first team to do so in the Czech or Czechoslovak league since 1962.
