Slavia drew 3-3 in Příbram after the hosts equalized five minutes into the added time.

Manager Jindřich Trpišovský made no changes to his starting eleven in comparison with the last match against Jablonec which Slavia won 3-0. The only changes were made to the substitutes bench. Simon Deli started on the bench as well as Lukáš Masopust, Mick van Buren and Stanislav Tecl who recovered from their injury.

Slavia had the first chance of the game when Lukáš Provod played in a corner in the 10th minute. Sima timed his run perfectly, shot with a volley and the ball was going to the top left corner. Unfortunately for the Red-whites, the shot was accidentally blocked by Ondřej Kúdela.

Another opportunity for Slavia came in the 15th minute. Provod’s cross to the penalty area was blocked by the defence, but it rebounded to Olayinka. He tapped the ball to Stanciu who shot beautifully with a volley but missed the goal by a small margin.

It was Příbram who scored first. Radek Voltr received a nice trough ball from Tregler to the right wing, he sent it to the penalty area to Nový who timed his run nicely and shot at goal. The ball was deflected by Zima to the opposite side of the goalkeeper’s movement and went into the net.

But Slavia did not wait too long with an answer. Nico Stanciu played in a corner in the 24th minute. The ball went over the Příbram’s goalkeeper, hit the crossbar and rebounded to the far post to Peter Olayinka who was able to tap it into the net from close range with his knee despite being marked by a defender to make it 1-1!

In the extra time of the first half, Slavia conceded an extraordinary goal. Ondřej Kúdela was running with the ball on the left side of the pitch towards his own goal being chased by one of Příbram’s players. He passed the ball back to Ondřej Kolář who slipped on the frozen grass and the ball went straight into the net.

Slavia was putting the pressure on Příbram defence since the beginning of the second half and they were rewarded in the 55th minute. After a throw-in on the right wing and a serie of passes between Holeš and Provod, Lukáš Provod ran trough the defence, passed the ball to Sima in the penalty area who shot beautifuly. The ball rebounded off the crossbar and went right into the net!

Simon Deli made his first start after his return to Slavia when he substituted David Zima in the 58th minute. Deli made a lot of good defensive clearences and gave a great performance.

Příbram started to play more passively and Slavia was pushing for a third goal. In the 79th minute, Abdallah Sima was fouled in the penalty area and after a VAR check, the refferee confirmed the penalty! Ondřej Kúdela stepped up to the spot, shot to the right side of goal and even though the goalkeeper guessed the side correctly, he could not reach the ball! 3-2.

Unfortunately for the Red-whites, Příbram equalised the game in the last seconds. After a free kick in the middle of the field on the right side of the pitch, Radek Voltr headed the ball on goal, it flew over Ondřej Kolář and rebounded off the crossbar into the top right corner.

The game ended right after the equaliser, Slavia drew 3-3 against FK Příbram. The Red-whites will play their next match on 13th February at home against Pardubice.
