Slavia Crowned Champions of the 2024/25 Chance Liga

The red-and-whites returned to a familiar venue the Andruv Stadion where they staged a dramatic turnaround between the 79th and 81st minutes back in December, defeating Olomouc 2-1 thanks to goals from Tomas Chory and Lukas Provod in what was dubbed the Away Trip of the Year.
And Chory was in for another fantastic afternoon?
Igoh Ogbu started for the first time since his injury, and Ondrej Zmrzly scorer and assist provider in the last match against Slovacko also kept his place. The northern stand, known as the shell, was once again filled with Slavia fans.
The first serious opportunity came through Chory, who acrobatically fired with his right foot after a corner, but Koutny cleared the ball off the line. In the 14th minute, Stanek saved Mikulenkas header and later stopped a deflected shot from Zmrzly. Chorys follow-up to a powerful Provod strike was ruled out for offside, but just a minute later, Slavia celebrated.
Chory held his ground in a tough duel and passed to Vasil Kusej, who made no mistake and scored his fifth goal in four league matches - 0:1.
In the 40th minute, Provod had a great chance to double the lead, but after rounding Koutny, he sent the ball over the bar.
Slavia came out flying in the second half. Provod laid the ball off to Tomas Chory, who curled it past the Sigma keeper into the far corner - 0:2. Moments later, a handball by a home defender resulted in a penalty, which Chory confidently converted - 0:3.
Stanek then pushed Navratils header out for a corner. After an hour of play, Kusej netted his second goal by putting away a rebound from Douderas shot - 0:4. Just five minutes later, he completed his hat-trick with a classy lob over Koutny - 0:5.
Kusej, Oscar, and Zmrzly were then subbed off, making way for Chytil, Moses, and Botos. Ondrej Kolar made his season debut, replacing Stanek in goal for the final minutes, and Chaloupek came on for Chory. Botos came close to adding a sixth but narrowly missed the far post.
The match ended with no further goals, and after the final whistle, the Andruv Stadium erupted in red-and-white celebrations as Slavia secured their 22nd league title.
Slavia defeated Olomouc 5-0 away and are officially the 2024/25 Chance Liga champions with games to spare.
