The biggest chance for German club thus came after 59 minutes. Damjanović was left alone in the penalty area, but her header after long cross was excellently blocked by Votíková who pulled off a great save on the goal line.
However, just 3 minutes later the guests broke the deadlock when Rolfö got the ball in to box and had enough time to find the back of the net with her shot in the bottom right corner.
But Slavia did not give up and managed to escape Bayern pressing on 73rd minute. Kateřina Svitková got the ball in the centre and her long shot from 30 meters ended in the top right corner behind Zinsberger.
Slavia Ladies thus drew 1-1 with European giants Bayern Munich home in Eden Arena and will travel with this promising result for the second leg next week. The attendance of almost 7.000 was the Czech record for women’s football and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Slavia Ladies have played 10 European games in Eden Arena so far with impressive W4 D5 L1 record against European top clubs (Bayern, FC Barcelona, Rosengard, Wolfsburg, Olympique Lyon or Zvezda Perm).
