Olomouc - Slavia
Goals: 45. Kuchta, 56. Stanciu, 60. Ševčík
The Red-whites won 3-0 against Sigma Olomouc and advanced to the semi-final of Czech MOL Cup against Sparta.

Manager Jindřich Trpišovský made three changes in comparison with the last match against Bohemians in the league. Ondřej Kolář started in goal. Lukáš Masopust, Ondřej Kúdela, David Zima and Jan Bořil played in defense. Petr Ševčík started in defensive midfield alongside Tomáš Holeš. The midfield trio was composed of Mick van Buren, Nicolae Stanciu and Oscar Dorley. Jan Kuchta played the game upfront.

The Red-whites started the game with two good chances. In the 4th minute, Jan Bořil had a great opportunity when he sent a powerful shot on goal but it was saved by the goalkeeper. Bořil tried another shot on goal directly from a corner kick but he missed!

Slavia had another great chance to score in the 17th minute. Lukáš Masopust was fauled a few metres in front of the penalty area. Petr Ševčík sent a cross to the far post from the set piece and David Zima headed the ball back into the middle of the box to Mick van Buren. He managed to sent a good shot on goal but only hit the crossbar from a difficult position.

Jan Kuchta scored the first goal of the game in the 45th minute! Aleš Mandous had the ball in the box. Kuchta robbed him off the ball while Mandous was trying to pass it to a defender, made a great dribble and sent the ball into the net!

Lukáš Masopust made a huge contribution to the second goal. He single-handedly took the ball into the penalty area before passing it to Stanciu who scored to the open net to double Slavia’s lead in the 56th minute!

Just three minutes after that, Masopust produced another great assist with his nice trough ball behind the defence to Petr Ševčík who dribbled around the goalkeeper and scored comfortably!

After those two goals, the tempo of the game slowed down a little bit and we could not see any big chances. Jindřich Trpišovský made five substitutes not long after the third goal.

The Red-whites won 3-0 against Olomouc and advanced into the semifinals of the MOL Cup where they will face Sparta Prague! The next match for Slavia is going to take place on 2nd May against Viktoria Pilsen in the FORTUNA:LIGA.
