The Red-Whites dropped 2 points in Karviná after a last-minute equaliser from the hosts.
Injury-depleted Slavia were missing 10 players including regulars Bah, Bořil, Masopust or Stanciu. The Red-Whites started with several changes in compare to the last game against Legia, Aiham Ousou made his debut as right back.

Karviná started with tough physical game which resulted in 3 yellow cards in the opening 20 minutes. But the hosts also created several promising opportunities. 14 minutes into the game Qose sent a cross from the left wing and Svoboda headed wide inside of the box.

A minute later Slavia could celebrate for the first time when Tecl scored after a counter-attack, but the goal was disallowed due to previous offside by Schranz.

After 24 minutes Qose sent another good cross from the left wing and this time Šindelář headed wide in a dangerous position. Only 3 minutes later Qose set-up Papadopulos with a long through pass and Karviná forward opened the score with a cross shot from the right side of the box.

Slavia, however, managed to come from behind before the break. In the 35th minute Samek sent through pass to Ekpai who passed the ball to his left inside of the box and Ivan Schranz found the back of the net with his 5th goal of the season.

Jindřich Trpišovský had to make his first change one minute before the break when Ondřej Kúdela had to be replaced by David Zima due to a knee injury. But a minute later Slavia came from behind to take a lead when Taras Kacharaba hit the top right corner with his header following Samek’s corner kick.

But Karviná raised back into the game after the break. In the 46th minute Svoboda’s powerful shot had to be blocked by Kacharaba in front of an open net. In the 55th minute the hosts managed to equalise when Dramé reached the loose ball on the right side of the box, returned it in front of the goal and Svoboda sent it into an open net.

But Slavia did not give up. Just 2 minutes Later Oscar fired on the near post after a counter-attack, but Bolek managed to block the effort with his right foot and Schranz sent his rebound over the crossbar.

But in the 65th minute Slavia made amends when Karviná goalkeeper Bolek only managed to block Lingr’s header after Samek’s corner and a close-range finish by Ibrahim Traoré put the Red-Whites in the lead again.

After 84 minutes Slavia goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář had to be treated after a collision with Zych following one of the Karviná long crosses.

However, in the added time, Karviná managed to equalise once again. After a corner kick Dramé outjumped Slavia defence and Kacper Zych thumped in a last-minute equaliser from short distance.

The Red-Whites thus dropped two points in Karviná after a 3-3 draw. Slavia conceded 3 goals in the league only for the second times since May 2018.
