PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA – The sewn-ones faced the toughest spring opponent on Sunday. After matches with Jihlava and Příbram, Slavia welcomed in Eden the ruling champions from Plzeň.
Over nineteen thousand spectators saw a tactical battle with Slavia being the more dangerous team in their attempts to score a goal. In 71st minute Řezník tackled Zmrhal and received his second yellow card in the match and Plzeň went down to ten men.

In 88th minute Sýkora executed a corner kick and Michal Frydrych’s header sealed the victory for Slavia. And the defender dedicated the goal to his wife and new-born daughter.
