Sparta - Slavia
Goals: 32. a 40. Sima, 53. Lingr
Slavia won the 297th derby against Sparta 3-0 after Sima scored twice and Lingr once.

Jindřich Trpišovský picked his traditional eleven for the 297th derby match against Sparta. Only two changes were made in comparison to the last match against Beer Sheva. Jan Bořil replaced Oscar Dorley on the left side of defence and Ondřej Lingr substituted Nicolae Stanciu in midfield. Olayinka and Sima started on the wings, Kuchta up front. The Red-whites played the game with two defensive midfielders Ševčík and Holeš.

Both sides were very careful not to concede in the first 15 minutes. In that time there were not many chances. The only one came from Ondřej Lingr in 6th minute. He took the ball in the middle of the field, ran with it almost to the penalty area and fired from long range. The ball missed the goal by one meter, but the shot was very good.

Both teams started to play with a more attacking mindset after the 15th minute. We could see more shots from outside the box between the 15th and 25th minute. Petr Ševčík’s shot in the 18th minute was impressive. He would have hit the top left corner if Nita did not save it.

The first big chance to score came in 29th minute when Ondřej Kolář tackled Ladislav Krejčí in the box and the referee pointed to the spot. But Kolář went from zero to hero when he saved the penalty taken by Lukáš Juliš.

Sparta did not convert its biggest chance of the first half, but Slavia did convert theirs in the 32nd minute. Petr Ševčík was playing in a corner and Abdallah Sima jumped way higher than the others. He headed the ball to the net and sent Slavia into the lead!

Another goal came a few minutes later, in the 40th minute. After one of Slavia’s players were fouled, Jan Bořil got to the ball and crossed it to the right side when Sima was all alone. His first touch was great, he shot to the left side of the goal and Nita could not reach it. Sima scored his eight goal in the last seven matches.

Slavia was the better team in the second half as well. Ondřej Lingr scored his first league goal for Slavia in the 53rd minute. Dočkal was passing the ball to Trávník who slipped. Lingr took the ball and shot from outside the box to the left side. The shot was so fast that Nita did not even move. 3-0.

Slavia was satisfied with the score and played less actively so the game became more balanced. There were less chances on both sides between the 60th and 75th minute. Slavia had a few chances to score after the 75th minute when they had the advantage of three corners. But the Red-whites were not able to aim on target and all their shots missed the goal.

Slavia won the 297th derby 3-0. The Red-whites will play their next match on 10th December away against Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
