Teplice - Slavia
TEPLICE – I took six long years to defeat Teplice at their pitch. But Slavia finally succeeded when Jiří Bílek netted a winning goal in 86th minute.
Dušan Uhrin had to make few changes in the line-up with Mikula, Jablonský or Hrubý missing. And his team created few dangerous opportunities in the first half. Face to face with the goalkeeper, Milan Škoda missed the goal in 21st minute.

Tomáš Souček could open the score a minute later, but his header didn’t surprise Slavík. Slavia attempts lacked accuracy, neither Černý nor Kenia were able to hit the goal.

Teplice threatened in the second half when Fillo executed a free kick in but Martin Berkovec made an important safe.

The coach had a lucky hand when replacing players. Collaboration of both substitutes Voltr and Bílek ended with a great success. Voltr freed himself with the ball and his pass found Bílek at the penalty line. Slavia defender gave no chance to Slavík and scored the only goal of this match.

“I think it was an even match but we were luckier, because we scored. I am delighted that we won. The team played responsibly and I am also glad, that those, who hadn’t play for a long time, succeeded. For example the defenders Michal Frydrych and Michal Švec played well, we kept a clean sheet,“ praised them Dušan Uhrin.
