Zlín - Slavia
Goals: 70. Kuchta
The Red-whites won their first match of the season against Zlín 1-0 thanks to Kuchta´s goal!

Slavia started their first match of the season with a lot of changes to their starting eleven. Some players still were not available for the game so some new players were given a chance. Ondřej Kolář started in goal, Alexander Bah, Ondřej Kúdela, Taras Kačaraba and Oscar Dorley played in defence. Ibrahim Traoré started as defensive midfielder with Ekpai, Lingr, Stanciu and Plavšić playing in front of him. Jan Kuchta was the only man up front.

Zlín was the better team in the first few minutes but they did not profited from the pressure they put on the Red-whites. Slavia started to play after ten minutes of play and the game evened out.

The biggest chance of the first half was Traoré’s shot from 20 metres which almost hit the top-right corner of the goal but there were no real goal scoring opportunities and the first half ended 0-0.

Slavia opened the second half with a big chance! Srdjan Plavšić sent a nice trough ball into the penalty area for Oscar Dorley who managed to sent a shot on goal from close range but the goalkeeper saved it!

It was the top scorer in the league from the last season who opened the score against Zlín! Jan Kuchta sent a beautiful shot right bellow the crossbar after Oscar Dorley’s nice trough ball to the penalty area!

The Red-whites made some changes and started to play a little more defensive in the last ten minutes of the match.

Slavia beat Zlín 1-0 thanks to Kuchta’s goal and took all three points from the first match of the season! The Red-whites will play the next match on 30th July against Teplice!
