Victory Over Teplice. Provod Scores and Assists

How did Saturday night in Eden unfold?
For the fifth time, Slavia and Teplice joined forces in the Beyond Rivalry project and decided, before kickoff, to support the DONOR association, which has been helping children after bone marrow transplants and those battling chronic illnesses for almost 25 years.
Together, they donated CZK 100,000 to support activities that change the lives of these children and their families. Thank you!
Jindrich Trpisovsky, Zdenek Houstecky, and Stepan Kolar then received commemorative paintings for their historic and record-breaking 227 victories in the domestic top flight, an incredible milestone achieved last week at Slovacko. Congratulations once again, coaches!
Then the match began.
In the 7th minute, a long clearance from Jindrich Stanek reached Vasil Kusej, who brought the ball down beautifully but missed the far post. David Zima's header hit the woodwork, while Kozak's shot was no trouble for Stanek, and David Doudera's tight-angle effort failed to surprise Trmal.
In the 24th minute, Kozak's attempt missed the target by inches. Seven minutes later, Slavia struck. The visitors made an error in the build-up, Kusej won the ball for Lukas Provod, who calmly slotted it into the empty net for his second goal of the season ? 1:0. Kusej, now on five points, continued his lively performance, ending the half with a curling shot.
Provod tested Trmal early in the second half, but in the 52nd minute, Christos Zafeiris scored from a tight angle, sending the ball between the keeper's legs ? 2:0. The Greek international, like Provod, netted his second goal of the season, with the assist credited to Oscar. Three minutes later, the sold-out Eden crowd celebrated again as captain Jan Boril hammered the ball into the far post after a pass from Provod ? 3:0.
Oscar's injury saw Michal Sadilek come on, while Kusej's next effort lacked power and was easily saved. In the 66th minute, Vecerka was sent off for a foul on Provod, leaving Teplice with ten men. Daiki Hashioka and Ivan Schranz then replaced Moses and Doudera.
The final changes brought Fully on for Boril making his debut and Vorlicky for Provod, marking his first A-team appearance since knee surgery.
Schranz had three chances to extend the lead: his header hit the crossbar, Trmal denied him once more, and his long-range attempt to punish the keeper's poor positioning missed the target.
Slavia claimed a 3-0 victory over Teplice and will travel to Jablonec next week.
