Slavia defeated Dukla 4-0 thanks to the fantsastic last 30 minutes and recorded their first win in the 2022/23 MOL Cup.
Slavia travelled to second-tier Dukla Praha for the small Prague Derby in the MOL Cup 3rd round and it was the home side who created more chances in the opening half. With 12 minutes on the clock Adediran sent the ball wide from the right side of the box, after another counter-attack Ulman was denied by Kolář in the 40th minute.

Shortly before the break Dukla managed to score when Moulis sent his header into the bottom left corner, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside.

Second half started with big Dukla opportunity again, but this time Kolář managed to block Moulis’ effort on a corner. Slavia goalkeeper kept the Red-Whites afloat again after an hour making a great save against Kim’s effort.

Slavia left all the goals for the last 30 minutes. In the 64th minute the ball rebounded to Ewerton after Tecl’s duel inside of the box and the Brazilian midfielder sent his well-placed shot into the bottom left corner.

In the 75th minute the ball rebounded again, this time from Lingr to Lukáš Masopust who fired it through Čtvrtečka from inside the box.

The Red-Whites squeezed two more strikes into the aged time. Shortly after HUf’s deflected free kick hit a woodwork behind Kolář, Peter Olayinka managed to score against his former teammates sending the ball behind the crossbar after Čtvrtečka’s initial save.

Two minutes later Dukla goalkeeper rushed out of his goal to clear a long ball but lost an aerial against Sttanislav Tecl who could send Slavia’s fourth goal into an open net.

Slavia thus defeated Dukla 4-0 and went through to the MOL Cup round of 16.
