Win against Boleslav despite early red card
But only 3 minutes later Oscar pulled out Skalák inside of Slavia box, Mladá Boleslav were awarded a penalty and Oscar given a red card. The Red-Whites went down to ten men and the away team equalized from the spot by Skalák.
Despite playing in ten men, Slavia did not allow Boleslav into many chances. Only after 40 minutes Ladra fired twice from inside the box within 2 minutes, but Ondřej Kolář managed to block both his efforts.
On the other side the Red-Whites re-gained lead a minute before the break. Peter Olayinka set up Ondřej Lingr inside of the box and our forward sent his volley pas goalkeeper into the net.
But it was Boleslav who got into a good chance as the first team in the second half. In the 60th minute a cross from the right wing fell through our box to Fulnek whose volley had to be blocked by Kolář with another superb save.
After an hour Slavia raised back into the game and started creating chances. Jurečka’s shot in the 67th minute lacked strength, but a minute Later Tiéhi curled the ball behind Šeda who had to make a great save too to deny Slavia midfielder.
Slavia set the pace of the second half and could add third goal in the added time when Jurečka sent a through pass to Tecl behind Boleslav defence, but our striker was denied by Šeda again.
After 3 lost games Slavia thus defeated Mladá Boleslav 2-1. On Wednesday the Red-Whites play MOL Cup 3rd round against Dukla Prague. The game at Juliska starts at 6 pm.
