Against FC Midtjylland in UCL Play-off

Slavia will face Danish champions FC Midtjylland in the UEFA Champions League Play-off. The red-whites will start home on 22 September.

Midtjylland defeated Young Boys ern 3-0 away in the UCL 3^rd qualifying round on Wednesday. Slavia will start the Play-off home, first leg will be played in Eden on 22 September from 9 pm. Second leg in Denmark will be played on 30 September from 9 pm.

FC Midtjylland from the city of Hering are 2019/20 Danish champions. The club was founded in 1999 and managed to win the league three times since. The Danes qualified for the UCL 2^nd qualifying round and managed to beat Ludogorets Razgrad 1-0 away and then Young Boys 3-0 away.

Slavia made light work of their MOL Cup Round of 16 clash away at Zlín, securing a dominant 4–0 victory. The Reds decided the game already in the first half, when Mojmír Chytil opened the scoring. After the break, Lukáš Provod and youngster Tomáš Jelínek — who netted his first-ever senior goal — added insurance strikes, before Michal Sadílek sealed the win late on.

In the third round of the Champions League group stage, Slavia Prague held Atalanta to a 0–0 draw in Bergamo. The hero of the match was Jakub Markovič, who made at least four phenomenal saves on his Champions League debut. The “Red-and-Whites” picked up their second point in the group standings.
