Against LASK in the UECL round of 16

Slavia will play against LASK Linz to fight for qualification among the last 8 teams. The Red-Whites start home on 10 March.

The shortest possible trip was drawn for Slavia in the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 draw on Thursday. The Red-Whites will travel to Austria to play LASK Linz.

First game will be played home at Eden on Thursday, 10 March 2022. Second Leg takes part a week later, on 17 March in Austria.

LASK dominated the Group A of the UECL last year with 5 wins, 1 draw and only one goal conceded in the games against Maccabi Tel-Aviv, HJK Helsinki and Alashkert.

Slavia finished second in the group behind Feyenoord and ahead of Union Berlin and Maccabi Haifa. In the knockout stage play-off the Red-Whites defeated Fenerbahce twice with the same result 3-2.

Slavia defeated Slovan Liberec 1–0 in the 17th round at Fortuna Arena, maintaining their perfect home record in the Chance League this fall. Mojmír Chytil scored the winning goal in the 41st minute, with Dominik Pech earning his first league assist. A total of 17,969 spectators attended the match in Eden.

Slavia Prague suffered a 1–2 defeat against Turkish side Fenerbahçe SK in the 5th round of the UEFA Europa League group stage, despite taking an early lead through Tomáš Chorý. The visitors turned the match around with goals from Edin Džeko and En Nesyri. Slavia remains on four points in the group.
