Cup throwers have the opportunity to rectify their mistake

Forced interruption of the match, likely high penalties from UEFA, and disgrace for the entire Slavia. Such is the outcome of the behavior of some individuals during the home game against AC Milan, who decided to resolve their current frustration by throwing beverage cups or other objects onto the playing field.

All this at a time when the club is under scrutiny for infractions during the UEFA Europa League group stage and faces not only a hefty financial penalty but also the closure of the entire stadium or parts of it for future home matches in European competitions.

Although we understand that the match was emotionally charged in many ways, this behavior is inexcusable and does not align with the philosophy of the club, ultimately only harming it.

We firmly believe that those involved regretted their actions immediately after committing them. It is primarily for this reason that we have decided to give them the opportunity to make amends for their behavior contrary to the Eden Stadium´s code of conduct.

Anyone who threw a cup or any other object onto the playing field can report their misconduct by Monday, March 25, 2024, via email to slo@slavia.cz and serve their sentence through public works for the club.

In the event of failure to report their misconduct, those identified by the club will be punished in accordance with the Fortuna Arena - Eden´s code of conduct with a financial penalty of up to 50,000 crowns and a ban from entering football matches at the Fortuna Arena - Eden for up to two years.

The club believes that all offenders will take advantage of the opportunity to rectify their behavior, and for those who do not admit their mistake, the club will be uncompromising.

At the same time, we would like to thank those who behave at both home and away matches to support rather than damage the club. Thanks to this overwhelming majority, you are among the best fans we have!
