Imad Rondic: Young Bosnian striker signs for Slavia

PRAGUE – Slavia announced signing of another talented young player. After Slovak goalkeeper Martin Vantruba signed last week, Bosnian striker Imad Rondić will become next reinforcement for the red & whites. 18-year old striker is currently the best striker of Bosnian Junior League.
18-year old striker comes from Sarajevo and currently plays for FK Sarajevo in the Bosnian Junior league. With 16 goals and 7 assists Rondić is the best striker of his competition in current season.

Imad Rondić started his career in Olimpik Sarajevo, in 2016/2017 played for Mladost Doboj-Kakanj and from this season in FK Sarajevo. He signed the professional agreement with Slavia till 2021.

“I am glad I have signed my first professional contract with the biggest club in the Czech Republic. I have been impressed by the conditions and by the functioning of the club. I hope this will be a huge step forward in my career,” Rondić said after the meeting with Slavia management.

Slavia kicked off their Champions League group stage campaign with a 2–2 draw against Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt. Jindřich Trpišovský’s side led by two goals — both scored by Youssoupha Mbodji — but the visitors managed to equalize late in the game. Goalkeeper Jindřich Staněk also made a crucial save from the penalty spot while the score was 1–0.
