Slavia will play against Sevilla FC in the next stage of UEFA Europa League. The red-whites qualified for the Round of 16 of European cup for the first time since 2003. 16 years ago, they played equal games with Turkish club Beşiktaş.In 2002/03 Slavia eliminated Mouscron, Partizan Belgrade and PAOK in UEFA Cup. The draw led them against Beşiktaş – unbeaten leaders of Turkish league – In the Round of 16. Slavia win 1-0 in the 1st leg home and eventually lost 2-4 away in Istanbul, which put an end to their European adventure.
