In Europa League Round of 16 after long 16 years

Slavia will play against Sevilla FC in the next stage of UEFA Europa League. The red-whites qualified for the Round of 16 of European cup for the first time since 2003. 16 years ago, they played equal games with Turkish club Bešiktaš.
In 2002/03 Slavia eliminated Mouscron, Partizan Belgrade and PAOK in UEFA Cup. The draw led them against Bešiktaš unbeaten leaders of Turkish league In the Round of 16. Despite Slavia protests, Bešiktaš qualified for the quarter-finals against Lazio, losing 1-3 on aggregate. FC Porto won the competition that year winning 3-2 against Celtic FC.
