He lifted Czech title twice (2017,2019) and Czech cup twice (2018, 2019). In current season he was one of vice-captains of the team.

“I got several attractive offers, but I believe that if Slavia still want me as their player, they have their reasons to do so. That is why I chose the half-year loan with possible buyout option. I believe and I promise that I will do everything to help them avoid relegation from the 2. Bundesliga,” Josef Hušbauer said.
“When I joined Slavia, it was not an easy move for me. I wanted to play regularly again, and that was a real challenge for me. I wanted to help the famous club to rise again and first moments were really difficult, but thanks to the people who believed in me I managed it. Those four years belong to the most beautiful in my career. Together we made unbelievable things happen and I am proud of it. Slavia became my home during those years and I always did maximum to contribute to their performance,” Hušbauer added.
