Manager after training camp: Still some kinks to iron

Slavia finished their summer training camp in Austria with two narrow defeats and one draw but manager Dušan Uhrin was still satisfied with the course of the training. “Even though we still repeat some mistakes, we have some time to iron out all the kinks,” shows Uhrin his positive point of view.
“I am very satisfied with the course of our training camp, even though we could not play on of the scheduled games. All the players are ok in terms of their health, only Tomáš Jablonský had some problems but he should be all right in few days,” Slavia manager Dušan Uhrin said after the final game against Russian side Rostov.

Slavia is now facing Croatian Hajduk Split in their last friendly before the UEL 2nd qualifying round. “We were looking for a tough opponent for our last test when the opportunity of playing Hajduk appeared. We must get ready for the Europe and I hope that in the week following the Hajduk game we will have enough time to fine-tune our performance. Not to make mistakes we have been making in last games,” Uhrin added.

“We have made a great improvement in our team, even in terms of potential substitutes. Especially the midfield get much better with names like Ščuk or Mingazov. The new centre-back Michael Ngadeu should also become part of starting eleven,” concluded Dušan Uhrin.
