New contracts for Kúdela and Traoré

Ondřej Kúdela and Ibrahim Traoré signed new contracts till summer 2022.
Ondřej Kúdela joined Slava two years ago, before the spring part of 2016/17 season, and became one of the key players for 2019/20 after departures of Simon Deli and Michael Ngadeu. 32-year old centre-back made overall 61 caps for Slavia, 18 in league and 8 in UCL this season. Kúdela scored 5 goals in red and white so far, in 2019 he also made 3 caps for Czech national team against Brazil, Northern Ireland and Bulgaria.



Ibrahim Benjamin Traoré came to Slavia on loan in September 2018, the loan became permanent transfer in winter 2018. 31-year old Ivorian midfielder scored 4 goals in his 29 league games for Slavia so far, this year he started in both Champions League play-off games and in 4 games in group stage despite ankle injury from the opening game at Inter. His performances earned him first cap for Ivory Coast national team against Niger in November 2019.

Slavia defeated Slovan Liberec 1–0 in the 17th round at Fortuna Arena, maintaining their perfect home record in the Chance League this fall. Mojmír Chytil scored the winning goal in the 41st minute, with Dominik Pech earning his first league assist. A total of 17,969 spectators attended the match in Eden.

Loss to Fenerbahce, Chorý scored an opener

Slavia Prague suffered a 1–2 defeat against Turkish side Fenerbahçe SK in the 5th round of the UEFA Europa League group stage, despite taking an early lead through Tomáš Chorý. The visitors turned the match around with goals from Edin Džeko and En Nesyri. Slavia remains on four points in the group.
