Therefore, he became goalkeeper with most clean sheets in his opening 100 league starts. So far Tomáš Grigar managed to keep 43 clean sheets and Petr Čech 42 in their first 100 league apppearances.
Kolář made 30 league starts for Slovan Liberec before moving to Slavia where he has another 70 caps. He spent 8,995 minutes on the pitch and made 219 successful saves which sets his save accuracy to 74%. His passing accuracy - part of his trademark goalkeeping style - is 86,5%.

Out of 25 league rounds this year Kolář started to 23 games and kept 17 clean sheets. Therefore, he equalled record of Zdeněk Jánoš (1996/97) and Petr Čech (2001/02) who both kept 17 clean sheets during one league season. Kolář has now 5 more games of the regular season to improve his record.
“It’s great to be on top of the table alongside such great names. But above all I hope that we will continue in such performances as in Mladá Boleslav. It is not just about me, I owe these statistics to the entire team. It is their work too. We play responsibly in the defence and we do not concede many goals. And I believe we will continue doing so,” Ondřej Kolář said after the game in Mladá Boleslav.
