Ondřej Kolář prolongs his contract till 2022

On the beginning of the new season goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář signed new contract with Slavia. It is now valid till June 2022 with no exit clause.
“We agreed on the new contract with no exit clause. Slavia did not prefer such clause and it was no problem for me either. I am glad we came to an agreement and I can work with clear head,” Ondřej Kolář said.

The new contract came after just half a year in the club. Was it surprising? “Of course, it was, because I’ve been here just for a while. But I can see that Slavia appreciate me and that they want me to stay longer. I did not hesitate, and we agreed on terms with Mr. Tvrdík and sports director Jan Nezmar,” Kolář added.

Liberec-raised player came to Slavia during last winter break and helped the team to reach 2nd place in the league securing Champions League qualification spot and to win the MOL Cup. “Slavia is on the first place for me now, I did not want to leave anywhere. I want to help the club and to succeed here. I really appreciate the new contract after such a short time.”

“I am absolutely satisfied in Slavia and I am excited about the crew in the locker room. The team is incredible, and we can see it on the pitch. It starts to be a good fit here and therefore I believe there are successes to come,” Kolář concluded.
