Our players in national teams

The season is not over for 8 Slavia players who were called to their national teams.
Czech national team will fight in the EURO 2020 Qualifiers against Bulgaria in Prague and against Montenegro in Olomouc. Manager Šilhavý included 5 Slavia players into the squad including defenders Jan Bořil and Vladimír Coufal, midfielder Alex Král, forward Lukáš Masopust and the best player of 2018/19 league season defensive midfielder Tomáš Souček.

Ondřej Kolář, Ondřej Kúdela, Josef Hušbauer, Petr Ševčík, Jaromír Zmrhal and Ondřej Kolář are among substitutes in case of injury of one of other players.

Miroslav Stoch is part of Slovakia squad for their friendly against Jordan and EURO 2020 Qualifier against Azerbaijan.

Michael Ngadeu will captain Cameroon on Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where the Indomitable Lions will try to defend their title from 2017. His colleague from Slavia defence Simon Deli will play on the same tournament for the Ivory Coast.

In the eighth round, Slavia beat Karviná 3-1 at Fortuna Arena and got ready for Wednesday´s opening Champions League home game against Bodo/Glimt. Mojmír Chytil opened the scoring again, and Lukáš Vorlický responded to the visitors´ equalizer with his first goals for the A-team. All this took place in front of 19,309 spectators.
