SAN AUGUSTIN – The mid-season training is on for the Slavia ladies. The team has been training in the Canary Islands since Saturday.
The ladies are elbows deep in their preparation for Champions League quarter-finals against Olympique Lyonnais. They are getting back in shape after Christmas break and thanks to the warm weather they can practice on natural grass.

But amidst the hard work, there is still time for fun. The squad attended a Spanish league match Las Palmas – Atletico Madrid on Sunday. The home side lost to Madrid 0-3 in front of a 28,515 spectators and the girls enjoyed the atmosphere a lot.

There is a friendly match coming on Wednesday 20 January. Slavia will face Spanish team CD Astrachan Santa Lucia at 19:30 local time (20:30 CET).
