Slavia Ladies qualify for the UWCL quarter-final

Slavia Ladies drew with Swedish FC Rosengard 0-0 and qualified for the UWCL quarter-final following a 3-2 win from Sweden in the first leg.
Slavia Ladies won the 1st leg 3-2 away in Malmö and the goalless draw in Eden was enough to qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final. Slavia reached this stage for the third time in last 4 years thus confirming their stable position among top-10 clubs in Europe.

Slavia thus avenged their 6-1 aggregate loss to Roseng?rd at this stage two years ago and are the only survivors from the qualifying round. Quarter-final and semi-final of UWCL will be drawn on 9 November. 1st leg of quarter-final will be played on 20 or 21 March, 2nd leg on 27 or 28 March 2019.

In 2021 Slavia could even reach the UWCL Final on their own stadium. Eden Arena – home of Slavia – is among last two stadiums considered as a venue for this prestigious game.
