The Slavia women´s team is gearing up for the second Champions League match in the new year! On Thursday, January 25, we will host Norwegian side Brann at the Lokotrans Arena in Mladá Boleslav. The kickoff is scheduled for 18:45, and admission to the match is free.

Slavia´s women´s team achieved a historic success in the postponed match against St. Pölten from Austria, securing their first-ever victory in the group stage of the Champions League. The crucial goal came from Michaela Khýrová, who capitalized on a pass from Tereza Krejčíříková, securing three valuable points for Slavia. The Mladá Boleslav Lokotrans Arena can prepare for another exciting match, this time against Norwegian side Brann, currently holding the second spot in the group. Brann´s squad is primarily composed of Norwegian national team players with additional players from Iceland and Finland. Under the guidance of coach Peter Ho Martin, the team has garnered seven points from four matches, with two wins and one draw. Fans can thus look forward to a very attractive opponent.

"We all enjoyed our first win in the Champions League; we finally showed that we can play tough matches and bring them to a victorious conclusion. Before such a challenging match against Brann, it was important to win and tune in positively. We are aware that there is still a small chance of advancing from the group, and that should drive us to try and bring this match to a victorious end as well. We don´t expect an easy match; the Brann team is disciplined, well-coordinated, and very skilled with the ball. In the game, we can create chances, and it will be necessary to cfonvert them, as they may not come as frequently," says goalkeeper Olivie Lukášová ahead of the match.

You can watch the match against Brann live on Thursday from 18:45 on the DAZN YouTube channel.
