Slavia players in 8 national teams

Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Liberia, Bahrain and Croatia. Slavia players will spend the international break playing for 8 different national teams.

Jan Bořil, Tomáš Holeš, Ondřej Kúdela, Lukáš Masopust, Lukáš Provod, and David Zima are in the Czech national team squad for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Estonia (A), Belgium (H) and Wales (A). Tomáš Malínský – currently on loan to Mladá Boleslav – was called-up too, Jan Kuchta is among substitutes.


Captain Jan Bořil and Abdallah Sima were both called up to the national teams of Czechia and Senegal.

Jakub Hromada is among players called up for the national team of Slovakia for the first time. Slovakia will play against Cyprus, Malta, and Russia. Nicolae Stanciu will join the national team of Romania for their 2022 World Cup Qualifiers against North Macedonia, Germany, and Armenia.


Nicolae Stanciu scored 8 goals for Slavia in the last 6 games.

Simon Deli will join the national team of Ivory Coast for the Africa Cup of Nations games against Niger and Ethiopia. Abdallah Sima was called-up the national team of Senegal for the games against Republic of the Kongo and Eswatini. Oscar Dorley will be part of the squad of Liberia for the two friendly games against Saudi Arabia U23. Yusuf Helal will get a chance to play for Bahrain against Syria and Jordan.


Oscar scored his second goal of the season against Opava last Sunday.

Czech U21 national team will travel to Slovenia for the U21 EURO. In the group stage, the Czechs will play against Italy (24 March), Slovenia (27 March) and Spain (30 March). Midfielder Ondřej Lingr made it into the final squad of manager Karel Krejčí, David Zima and Michal Beran are on the substitute’s list.

Petar Musa – currently on loan to Bundesliga club Union Berlin – will travel with the Croatian U21 team to U21 EURO in Slovenia. They will play against England, Portugal, and Switzerland in the Group Stage.
